Breaking Stigma: A Memoir about Redefining Expectations

"I’ve often wondered if most adolescents feel that way, when youth is like a handful of dry kindling and you’re just about to light the match. What a wonderful, unparalleled feeling to believe that life is about to ignite in the best way possible and there will be an endless supply of fuel." [excerpt from Breaking Stigma]

In her debut Breaking Stigma, author Breeann Hamp takes you up to the very moment when life changes forever.  Her writing captures the thoughts, feelings, and heartfelt desires of a woman growing from adolescence into whatever comes next, and the sensation that you've suddenly become a pariah to polite society.  Unflinchingly honest, Breaking Stigma is a memoir comprised of equal parts bravery, anger, and transformation; it is a book which speaks to the person we thought we would be, and the person we are.
