As a Black woman born in the 1960s, author Ansonia Smith Gibbs has lived through a turbulent time in American history. Fortunately, she had many "sheroes" to guide her along her way. From stories of a woman who made her laugh and find happiness when it felt as though no one else could, to the woman whose business sense made her a pillar of the neighborhood, My Sheroes: Molding a Black Princess is a tribute to generations of women who poured their love and skills into raising a little girl.
